The Rev. Pete D. Jones


Rev. Pete Jones graduated from Dickinson College with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in Political Science.  After a few years of selling industrial supplies, he enrolled in Lexington Theological Seminary, and he is currently in the final stages of the Doctor of Ministry program at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  He served as pastor of the historic Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Versailles, KY, a wonderfully active congregation up until this past January.




Dr. John T. King
Minister of Music


Dr. John T. King has served as Minster of Music at Hitchcock Presbyterian Church, Scarsdale, NY, since 1990, where he administers and conducts the multiple choir program. Dr. King holds a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Louisville, a Master of Music degree from Yale University and Doctor of Musical Arts from Manhattan School of Music. In addition, he serves as Artistic Director and Conductor of the New Choral Society. Dr. King has given organ concerts throughout the United States and Europe and has performed and guest conducted for several American Guild of Organists workshops and choral festivals. He has served as an adjunct professor of music history, theory and conducting at Concordia College, Bronxville, and Mount Saint Mary’s College.



Lesley Pella-Woo
Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministry


Lesley has an MA in Religious Education from Andover Newton Theological School. Prior to joining Hitchcock's staff in mid-2015, she served as Director of Youth & Children's Ministry at the Presbyterian Church in Norwood, NJ. Prior job titles include Catechist and Teaching Assistant, Adjunct Professor of Religion and High School Religion Teacher. Lesley's many credentials include being an adjunct professor of Psychology, Religion and Spirituality at Fordham University; a retreat leader; an intrepid biblical scholar; a spiritual guide; a freelance writer and a certified yoga instructor.





The Rev. Dr. William (Bill) Weisenbach
Parish Associate


Dr. Weisenbach, DMin, DD (Bill to adults) graduated from Nyack College with a degree in music education, but after student teaching chose to continue his education at New York Theological Seminary. After graduation he continued there eventually becoming Professor of Practical Theology and Vice President of Academic Affairs. During those years he taught literally thousands of students including those at Sing Sing Prison. At the age of fifty he decided to see if he could do what he taught and resigned his faculty position to become the pastor of Philipstown Presbyterian Church in Cold Spring and finally as Senior Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah from which he was honorable retired in 2012. Bill continues as a Trustee and Adjunct Professor at NYTS teaching its Presbyterian students and as a clergy coach and consultant for congregations in conflict resolution.
