Lenten Organ Recitals
Marguerite Manley Memorial Lenten Organ Recital Series
Beginning Thursdays - February 29 through March 21, 2024
Hitchcock will once again present 30 minute noontime organ recitals during the season of Lent. These will take place at 12:00PM on The J. W. Walker organ in the acoustically revered sanctuary at the Church, followed by lunch at 12:30PM. The performers are all young, award winning “Rising Stars” in the field and current students of Grammy Award Winner, Paul Jacobs at the prestigious Juilliard School in NYC. The recitals will be followed by a light lunch served in the Lower Children’s House. All recitals are FREE and open to the public. A free-will donation is always appreciated. The recitals are made possible through the generosity of the Marguerite Manley Memorial Organ Recital Fund.
No reservations required. The church is handicapped accessible.
