REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT
When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself.
-Leviticus 19:33-34a
We are not currently working to resettle a family, but please read below to learn more about our past work and volunteer opportunities with local organizations and follow Hitchcock Happenings for updates.
At Hitchcock, we believe that our faith demands that we build solidarity and community with those who are fleeing war, persecution, and desperation.
Hitchcock has partnered with Congregation Kol Ami and Hearts & Homes for Refugees to resettle two refugee families from Afghanistan.
You can learn more about the resettlement process here, and find ways to get more involved below!
